My name is Lauren Dawson and I am the OUTlist Manager for the Queer & Ally Student Assembly (QuASA). I want to remind you that the annual OUTlist is available to sign! The OUTlist is two-full page spread of names in the Daily Trojan that is published around National Coming Out Day and it symbolizes a declaration of support to the USC LGBT Community. The list consists of students, staff, faculty and Alumni that identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender and a supportive ally. This year the list will be published on Tuesday, October 12. An announcement is below. It would be greatly appreciated if you could forward this announcement to your membership.
Sign the OUTlist – Support the LGBT Community
The USC LGBT Community invites you to become a supportive ally to the LGBT Community by signing the 2010 OUTlist. The OUTlist is now available for online submissions for students, staff, faculty and Alumni. Last year, with a focus on marriage equality, the list had over 800 online submissions. This year, we hope to exceed this number with the overall theme of support to all LGBT and Ally Trojans on National Coming Out Day!
